Phil Western :::
"Oh boy...uh...not sure how to explain these pieces of music. I'm sober these days, but there was a time, soon after I moved my studio up to the sunshine coast of British Columbia, when I was locked away in the wilderness for days at a time, and was using guitars to create loops and taking copious amounts of DMT and LSD and just basically getting lost in music. Some nights, with my friend Marcel Rambo, or another friend Anthony Roberts, we would just sit and make drones and loops on guitar. Everything on this disc was recorded live, and constructed with a looping device called the Jamman. Synths were used as well as LP records to contribute to the loops. I dont know what to say about this disc. It is my favourite work I ever released, hands down."
